South Yorkshire recruitment agency expands into North East

A specialist South Yorkshire recruitment agency is expanding into the North East following record breaking growth.

Provide Education, which has its head office in Barnsley and branch offices in Brighouse and Worksop, is opening a new office in Teesside this summer.

Its new base will be in Billingham and the expansion will see the initial creation of three internal new jobs. From this new branch, Provide Education will work with schools and job candidates across Middlesbrough, Stockton, Cleveland and Redcar, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Newcastle, and Sunderland.

The office will be headed up by senior branch consultant, Casey Bullen, who currently works at the head office, and Amy Kiely has been appointed as a recruitment consultant. The agency is currently advertising for a recruitment administrator and the team is set to grow as more schools and teachers are signed up in the area.

Provide Education currently works with over 2000 teachers, helping them to find supply teaching posts – and sometimes permanent jobs – in hundreds of schools across South and West Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Casey, who began her career with Provide Education as a trainee recruitment consultant and has risen through the ranks, said:

It’s an exciting time for the company, and I’m really pleased to be given the opportunity to head up the new office. I’ve had so much support since I started with Provide back in 2014 and I’m looking forward to relocating from South Yorkshire and leading a new team in the North East.

Provide Education was established in 2006 by recruitment specialist Katie Buckle and former teacher Barry Simmons. They began by working with 30 schools and now work with over 500, employing 21 staff across four offices.

The company’s turnover has doubled in the last two years and with the opening of the new office, it is on track to achieve its target of 75 per cent growth in 2016.

Katie said:

We’ve had a lot to celebrate this year, and launching the new office is a fitting way to mark our tenth anniversary. We’re confident that Casey will do a great job of managing the business in the North East and we’re very proud of how far she has come since joining us as a trainee.

Provide Education has had a fantastic few years but we’re not resting on our laurels; in fact, we’re already looking at expanding into other areas of the north.

The new office in Teesside will be based at the Belasis Technology Business Park in Billingham.
