Humber Business Week 2026 will launch with events on both sides of the Humber, with the South Bank event in Grimsby offering a distinctive perspective on the role of culture in shaping the region’s future.

Taking place on Tuesday 28 April at Grimsby Minster, the South Bank launch – The Business of Culture: Under the Sun – will bring together leaders from business, culture and civic leadership to explore how cultural investment and creativity are supporting growth, identity and ambition across the Humber.

Set beneath Helios, a large-scale illuminated installation by internationally renowned artist Luke Jerram, the event provides a striking and symbolic setting for conversations that connect cultural ambition with business and regional opportunity.

Alongside a corresponding North Bank launch event, the programme unveiling reflects the Humber Business Week ethos of collaboration across the estuary – bringing together businesses, organisations and communities to share insight, showcase excellence and strengthen regional connections.

This year’s programme features a strong line-up of South Bank events, highlighting the area’s growing economic and sector influence.

Just some of the key events include the Business & Economic Breakfast Briefing, offering insight into the region’s economic outlook, and the CATCH Humber Industrial Decarbonisation Network event, which will explore the Humber’s leading role in energy transition and industrial decarbonisation.

These events reflect the depth and diversity of the South Bank’s contribution to the wider Humber economy.

Humber Business Week remains a truly regional initiative, with events taking place across both banks to bring together businesses of all sizes and sectors.

On the North Bank, new in this year’s calendar is the Humber Tech Fest 2026, showcasing the region’s digital and innovation strengths, connecting businesses with emerging talent and highlighting the importance of technology in driving productivity and growth.

Running from 1–5 June 2026, the week will feature a varied programme of events led by businesses, for businesses – all designed to share knowledge, spark ideas and build lasting connections.

The week will conclude with The Business Day at the Brid Spa, a well-established highlight of the Humber Business Week calendar. Bringing together delegates from across the region, it offers a platform for thought leadership, networking and shared learning, closing the week with a strong sense of ambition and collective purpose.

Humber Business Week continues to provide a platform to celebrate success, share ideas and demonstrate the strength of the region.

With launch events on both the North and South Bank, this year’s programme reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, while recognising the unique strengths and perspectives each part of the Humber brings.
