Neill & Brown Global Logistics is motoring towards a greener future with an investment in electric vehicles.

Following a successful trial last year, a fully electric 18-tonne truck and Luton van are hitting the East Yorkshire roads to fulfil the company’s popular local pallet delivery service.

To mark the introduction of the new vehicles, Neill & Brown has also unveiled a fresh new electric-themed livery, designed to showcase its growing focus on sustainable transport solutions.

The first addition to the fleet is the 3.5-tonne Renault Luton van which is already supporting Neill & Brown’s busy local pallet operation, collecting and delivering for customers across Hull and surrounding areas. Later this year, the company will welcome an electric 18-tonne Renault truck.

The investment forms part of a broader sustainability strategy across the business which includes the installation of solar panels on the roof of its head office and warehouse facility in Hessle later this year.

Neill & Brown’s CEO Peter Brown said: “We recognise the importance of reducing emissions in our industry, and this EV investment is an important step towards preparing our business for the future. The trial in 2025 went down very well with our customers and drivers, and the vehicles are ideal for the local pallet delivery work we carry out every day.”

The company’s managing director Carl Andrew said that the initiative marked another milestone in Neill & Brown’s drive towards greener logistics. “This is about making meaningful, practical changes across the business,” he said. “We are proud to be investing in cleaner technologies while continuing to deliver a first-class service.”

Neill & Brown provides a comprehensive range of logistics services including palletised freight distribution, warehousing and storage, European and worldwide logistics by rail, road, sea and air, customs support and its internationally recognised caravan transport operation.
