The RaisE Business Centre in Goole, owned and operated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, has welcomed a local business, Corgi & Cream, as its new on-site café tenant.

Corgi & Cream is serving freshly prepared food for businesses, visitors and the wider Goole community, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3pm.

The café is run by young local entrepreneurs Zack and Billie and provides a range of sandwiches in freshly-baked bread, wraps, pastries and pies. It also provides soup and slow-cooked meats and well as Yorkshire pudding wraps and jacket potatoes and salads made using local produce.

Corgi & Cream will provide all the catering for events held at RaisE Business Centre, offering a convenient, high-quality food option for meetings, workshops and larger business events.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has been providing business accommodation since 1998, at facilities across the East Riding, including in Goole.  The centres offer office and workshop space for start-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), on flexible lease terms. The centres allow businesses to adapt to changing needs, including downsizing or expanding without penalties. They can also use other centres within the portfolio or relocate by giving one month’s notice.

Councillor Anne Handley, East Riding of Yorkshire Council leader said “It’s great to see a new local business come to the RaisE Business Centre. We are proud to support a business-friendly environment in our region and to support communities to thrive.”

Amanda Hoggart, Business Centre Manager, RaisE Business Centre, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Corgi & Cream to RaisE Business Centre. This is a fantastic addition for our tenants and visitors, and it also creates a new food destination for the wider community. Their focus on quality, value and local Yorkshire produce makes them a perfect fit for RaisE.  We encourage businesses, visitors and local residents to stop by and give Corgi & Cream a warm welcome.”
