This sector-diverse Board will comprise of six women and six men and includes LEP  Chair James Newman OBE, Deputy Chair Stephen Parnaby OBE and Leaders of  Hull City and East Riding of Yorkshire Councils. Its inaugural HEY LEP Board  meeting will take place on 19 April.

Launching on 1 April, the HEY LEP will represent and support businesses and other  sectors of the regional economy based in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire,  replacing the former Humber LEP on the North Bank, to form a public/private sector  partnership with the two Councils.

Following a well-publicised recruitment campaign, the LEP was very pleased with the  response from applicants from across our region, with a strong array of candidates  applying for membership of the Board.
