Chancellor’s budget offers employers £3000.00 incentive for apprentices

A new grant available to employers who hire a new apprentice between 01/04/2021 and 30/09/2021. This new grant, announced in the Chancellor’s budget offers employers a £3000.00 incentive to start a new apprentice of any age.

This grant is only for new apprentices, who must not have worked for you 6 months prior to starting the apprenticeship.

This new funding is in addition to the existing £1000.00 ‘Age Incentive Payment’ offered for employing an apprentice aged 16-18. If your apprentice is 18 or younger, you may claim both.
