A leading clinical negligence lawyer who practices throughout the Humber and Lincolnshire areas has received one of his sector’s most prestigious endorsements with recognition by the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.
Chris Gresswell-Green, a Senior Solicitor at Bridge McFarland LLP, is already a member of the AvMA Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel. He now becomes the third member of the Bridge McFarland team to join the Law Society panel.
Chris said: “I am very proud to have been accredited by the Law Society as a lawyer whose competency and expertise conforms to a best practice quality mark that prospective clients can trust.
Bridge McFarland LLP now has three Law Society panel members and I am also a member of the AvMA Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel – I hope that this will give people the confidence to come and speak with us if they have any concerns regarding medical treatment.”
Chris, who is known locally for his charity work, was appointed to the panel of AvMA – Action Against Medical Accidents – in 2017. Danielle Barney, head of Bridge McFarland’s Clinical Negligence department in Grimsby, said his appointment to the Law Society panel further recognises his exceptionally high level of knowledge, experience, and a skilled approach in this complex area of law.
Danielle added: “There are very few lawyers who sit on both the AvMa and Law Society Clinical Negligence panels, particularly in the Humber and Lincolnshire area, and the fact that Bridge McFarland LLP now has a member on both is significant for our firm and for our clients.
It can be difficult for people to know where to turn if they or their family have suffered from medical negligence. These accreditations give clients the assurance that they are dealing with a specialist lawyer who has the expertise, the knowledge and the empathy required to provide the support that clients need and to secure the right outcome.
Chris works incredibly hard for the people he represents and this accreditation is testament to that commitment and drive. We are all very proud of what he has managed to achieve.”
Clinical negligence cases require specialist knowledge and major investment to ensure they are dealt with correctly. It is important for clients to be well informed about who is conducting their case and for them to be confident that their lawyer has the level of expertise required.
Medical Negligence law is about justice and trying to put people into the position they would have been in had negligence not occurred. At Bridge McFarland LLP we recognise that isn’t always possible, and no amount of money can make up for long term pain or the loss of a loved one. We do everything we can the support our clients and get them the best possible outcome for the future.
