–          Über Agency continues to grow with acquisition of Doncaster’s Public Image

–          Public Image to relocate to Über’s Sheffield base

–          Move will strengthen Über’s ‘best outside of London’ position

Sheffield advertising agency Über has acquired the Doncaster-based integrated agency, Public Image. The move cements Über’s ‘Best outside of London’ position, and will considerably bolster its business-to-business capabilities.

Multi-award-winning and founded in 2003, the acquisition will see Über’s team expand as Public Image’s staff – including MD, Paul Green – relocate to the Sheffield agency’s base in Park Hill.

Over the years, both agencies have worked with major national brands, including DFS, Harveys, Benson for Beds and Netto, often at the same time.

The acquisition broadens Über’s capabilities and strengthens its team, especially in the B2B space, an area Public Image has a great deal of experience and a strong client roster.

Following a re-brand earlier in the year, the move underpins a broader agency growth strategy for Über. While strong creativity will continue to be its niche, it is also significantly expanding its digital capabilities, and now its business-to-business capabilities in line with client and consumer demands, as well as strengthening its core senior team with a number of key hires.
