Growing sales at an East Yorkshire farm machinery importer has led to the recruitment of a Business Manager.
Sancton based Manterra Ltd. has recruited Breege Kilfeather to the new position to ensure that the busy office runs smoothly and customer relationships are developed.
Breege, who has recently relocated from Buckinghamshire, where she was a housemistress at Wycombe Abbey School, will be responsible for streamlining Manterra’s data collection and management and will be the first point of contact for Manterra’s customers.
Manterra’s founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said:
Since Manterra was appointed the sole UK distributor for Unia Group Limited and an authorised reseller for Trimble, the business has grown significantly, so Breege’s contribution to our continued growth will be very valuable.
Breege comes from an Irish farming family and came sixth in the Irish National Farmerette Ploughing Championship as a teenager.
Of the new position, Breege said:
I’m looking forward to my new role enormously and also to helping out around the farm if needed. I’d also like to rekindle my love of ploughing now that I’m back in a farming community.
Manterra was established by farmer and agronomist, Andrew Manfield in 2011 and has its foundations in a farming business that was established at the beginning of the last century. Manterra is the key technology supplier to the Stockbridge Technology Centre’s SATS4CROPS initiative and the sole UK and Ireland distributor for leading Swiss agricultural machinery brand, Baertschi.
