Agenda Screening Services celebrates the opening of their newly refurbished offices, the creation of 10 new jobs and investment in new recruitment and screening software systems.

On 6th May 2016, Agenda, a family owned and run business, joined local dignitaries to open their newly refurbished offices, Graham Stuart MP officially cut the ribbon to recognise the contribution that Agenda has made to the local economy.  Established in 1996, Agenda purchased the then derelict BOCM feed mill site and set about creating not only a fantastic working environment for its staff, but also 50 jobs on the site with more to come.

Agenda was recognised for its investment in people and ambition to be a Great Place to Work in 2014 when it won the East Riding Council Chairman’s Best Business Award.

Agenda has ambitious growth plans and already provides pre-employment screening services to many blue-chip and government organisations, life science recruitment services internationally, and has a thriving marketing division that provides services locally and across the world.

Paul Sanders, Managing Director, said:

It is hard to believe that we are nearly 20 years old. We have always focused on our people to deliver excellent services and provided them with the development and environment to do the best possible job they can.  Our values of Respect, Reputation and Responsibility underpin everything we do, and as we have grown we have invested in new recruitment and screening software systems.  We have had many success stories over the years, and in particular some of our managers that started with us at a lower level who have thrived and excelled within Agenda.

Norman Mortell, Director of Operations, said:

I joined 15 years ago and there were 7 of us, based in a converted grain store at Paul’s house. We always move forward and it is great to have an event like this to reflect on how far we have come.  Even in this day and age there is nothing wrong with being a family business, it is these ideals of being friendly and professional, providing personal and bespoke services and engaging in our local community that are at the core of our success.”   He went on to say, “We have also invested in our websites, externally audited certifications, social media presence and in high quality, efficient back office systems that enable us to compete effectively and to deliver responsive and personal services.

Tim McGuire, Director of Business Development, said:
