It’s exciting times for MRS Training and Rescue, the new name for Mines Rescue Service, as we prepare to open a brand new training facility in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.
This new facility has five training rooms where we will offer a full range of Health and Safety training courses including First Aid, Safe Entry into Confined Spaces, Fire Fighting, IOSH and NEBOSH courses.
We are also able to offer first class practical training facilities which include a self-contained confined space training chamber, built into the fabric of the building with 70m of crawl space and internal cameras for recording all training, to prepare and train anyone who works in confined spaces.
We have developed our specialist skills, experience and knowledge gained from working in difficult and potentially high risk environments, and our team of qualified trainers not only provide expert training, but can impart real life scenarios of situations they have faced, to bring the learning to life.
Please visit our website for the full list of courses available. We also offer discounts for group bookings of six or more delegates.
You are invited!
And if you’d like to come along to our official opening by Yvette Cooper MP on Friday 27 May from 11am – 2pm, please call or email us today to book your place. We will be running a series of taster sessions and practical demonstrations showcasing the range of training we offer. And there’s lunch for everyone!
