Electronic data integration (EDI) expert, Lobster, is hitting the road to show the logistics sector how its software can drive operational time and cost savings.

The Chesterfield-based firm will be exhibiting at this year’s premier transport and freight event, Multimodal, to boost awareness of its flagship software, Lobster_data.

Lobster will be based on stand 904 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre from May 10-12 and will be using live demonstrations and detailed product information to highlight the advantages of its innovative approach to data transfer for importers and exporters.

Lobster_data allows users to exchange thousands of files in any format with suppliers, clients and professional partners. It enables mapping and new profiles to be set up in house, carries no transaction fees and has the capacity to cope with busy periods without interruptions. Complementary software is also available to manage supply chains, product information and e-commerce.

Jeni Steele, Lobster’s head of UK, said:

We are excited to be attending Multimodal and look forward to meeting visitors from across the UK and Ireland. The event grows in popularity year on year and attracts sectors as diverse as retail, construction and pharmaceuticals. We already serve numerous transport providers and I am confident buyers looking to upgrade their IT systems will be interested to find out how we can streamline their logistics operations.

Meet the Lobster team on stand 904 at Multimodal or to find out more about its EDI software, telephone (0114) 399 1551, visit www.lobster-uk.com or follow the firm on Twitter, @_lobsteruk.
