Providing exceptional quality has always been a core value at Albion and at the heart of everything they do, so having a dedicated manager to focus on quality in all areas of the business has been a natural progression in the company’s growth.

Lee who is from Barnsley, has held a number of senior quality engineering roles before joining the Albion team, where he has been responsible for implementing continuous improvement strategies across a variety of businesses.

In Lee’s new role at Albion, he will be focusing on all areas of quality improvement, from suppliers to internal operations and providing first class customer care and support to distributors.

Lee will be working closely with the manufacturing plants to ensure they meet specific criteria and hold the most recent and appropriate product accreditations. He will also be working with Albion’s team of inspectors to review and test new products before they leave factory.

The new role will also consider Albion’s internal management systems, making quality more visible within the organization and formalizing processes and procedures by setting KPIs.

Lee will also work closely with the sales team to guarantee the highest level of customer service is provided to distributors, and ensure customer feedback is carefully considered and acted upon.

This is an exciting time to join Albion. Their increasing reputation for excellence in the UK valves industry has really gained momentum in recent years, and my role will be supported by the team’s wealth of expertise and product knowledge. I very much look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
