Hats off to Hull College Degree students
DEGREE students from Hull College will shine in the annual graduation ceremonies this week.
Students from the Faculty of Business and Science and the Faculty of Arts will receive their degrees during afternoon and evening ceremonies held at Hull City Hall on Thursday 22 October.
The ceremonies are a culmination of years of hard work and dedication to studies, rounding off a rewarding student experience with the College.
Graham Towse, Hull College Principal said:
Our HE graduation ceremonies celebrate the achievements of all those students who have earned a higher level qualification such as a degree or professional accreditation with Hull College Group.
The ceremonies capture such an exciting atmosphere and give the College the chance to congratulate our students on all their hard work and celebrate this with their friends and families as they embark on the next stage of their life.
Alastair Thomson, Principal of University Campus Scarborough and Group Director for Higher Education, added:
The Hull College Group has a wealth of experience and already delivers one of the largest portfolios of Higher Education within Further Education nationally.
Our degree ceremonies, which are being held across the region, provide us with the chance to reflect this and are always a very proud occasion for us, representing the outstanding efforts of all our students.
This year’s graduates will be joined by key note speaker Lindsay West, CEO of Hull-based Garthwest, which is currently the largest independent manufacturer of cardboard boxes in the UK.
