The event which took place at Lees Hall Golf Club, Sheffield was held to raise funds for Claire House – a children’s hospice in the Wirral – and this year’s chosen charity of the Northern regions of leading housebuilder Miller Homes.

Andy Davies Operations Director Miller Homes Yorkshire said:

We had fantastic support for our charity last year, Martin House Children’s Hospice near Wetherby, and we wanted to support our colleagues in the North West with their charity this year.
It was a great event and over £3,500 was raised giving a real boost to the overall funds so far.

Each year a charity is chosen by one of the Northern regions (North West, North East and Yorkshire) and the others then hold a number of charity events in their own area, culminating in an annual black tie ball, this year hosted by North West and taking place in Liverpool during the autumn.

Andy added:

It was great to have so much support from staff in the Yorkshire region and our suppliers, contractors and partners that we work with to build our homes and developments.

These charities all have a special place in our hearts and we are delighted to be able to do our bit to help those in need.

Miller Homes currently has nine developments located across the region and has properties ranging from two bedroom stylish apartments to five bedroom luxury homes.
