The North Lincolnshire Community Champion Awards 2015 will be held in a special awards ceremony, at the Baths Hall, in North Lincolnshire on Thursday 26 November.
For the 4th consecutive year, and in support of its local community, QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby is very proud to be sponsoring the Award for Outstanding Achievement – Adult! In addition, the law firm’s Practice Manager, Patrick King has been invited to be a judge at the event and help to select the winners from this year’s nominees.
Patrick tells us:
QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby is proud to be invited once again to sponsor an award at this special event. As a local, Scunthorpe based business, we recognise that so many people have involvement in numerous community initiatives and so often these people go unnoticed. This annual event is an excellent forum for us all to show our thanks and appreciation for their efforts.
Last year’s awards ceremony was a huge success that honoured people’s achievements and inspirational work and this year promises to be even better. The awards are split into four categories – Volunteers, Achievement, Community, and Inspiration, which cover 22 individual awards, each sponsored by a local business.
Do you know someone who deserves recognition for the time they dedicated to volunteering, for overcoming barriers, or excelling in a sport or the arts? Is there a community group that deserves recognition for its work in the local community, or do you know someone who is a true inspiration to others? If so, nominate them this year!
The nomination criteria is:
- A young person is classed as 18 years or younger on the 31 October 2015
- An adult is classed as 19 years or older on the 31 October 2015
- All people and organisations nominated must be based in North Lincolnshire
- All categories are open to disabled/non disabled individuals and groups
- All individuals, groups and organisations nominated must have been active within the last year between 1 November 2014 – 31 October 2015.
You will need to provide specific examples of the work, achievements or commitment the person you are nominating has undertaken for the judging panel to consider.
The closing date for nominations is Sunday 20 September 2015.
Why not get involved and nominate some a deserving individual and help to spread the word about this exciting initiative to people you know?
