Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is adding three new faces to its property management team to meet rising demand from clients across the UK.
A solicitor and two paralegals are joining partner, Cassandra Zanelli, to meet increasing interest in the firm’s advice for landlords, property agents and leaseholders.
Specialist solicitor, Liz Rowen, will be handling complex litigation cases in both the first tier tribunal and county court, dealing with issues such as insurance arrears and breach of leases. She worked previously for a niche property management firm in Nottingham, handling mainly service charge and ground rent matters.
Paralegals, Patrick Macken and Katerina Woodcock, will be focusing in all types of debt recovery, particularly in the areas of service charges, ground rent and tenancy arrears. Before joining Taylor&Emmet, Katerina held a similar role for a firm of solicitors in Hull, whilst Patrick worked at Sheffield Magistrates Court, where he was an administrative enforcement officer.
In the last two years, Taylor&Emmet’s visibility and reputation among the property management sector has grown immeasurably and this significant investment in my team is testament to our continued success. We are working tirelessly to extend our reach and demonstrate the benefits of appointing a firm that has expert advisers in a wide range of services to businesses.
Taylor&Emmet has also promoted existing property management paralegal, Alex Byard, to litigation executive. She has experience in dealing with the recovery of service and rent charges and will be working with managing companies, agents and landlords on a variety of issues.
