A buoyant market is putting increased demand on the property department at Hull based firm, James Legal. The team is continuing to expand with the new appointment of expert property Solicitor, Rachael Noton.

After studying Law with French at the University of Leicester, Rachael completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York in 2007. Having previously worked at Rollits and QualitySolicitors Lockings, Rachael welcomed the opening at James Legal.

Kelly Bannister heads up James Legal’s property department and is delighted to welcome Rachael to the six-strong team.

She said:

“Our property department is enjoying a boom with the nutomber of transactions having grown substantially over the last 12 months. Rachael is a very welcome addition, her knowledge and experience is already proving a hit with our clients. Within the James Legal Team Rachael fits really well as yet another quality team player.”

“There are many local factors affecting demand and in turn, prices are on the increase. I am pleased to see a renewed confidence in buyers, many of whom are finding themselves in a more positive position than in recent years.”

“We are also seeing investment come into Hull from other areas. With the UK CIty of Culture just over 18 months away, Hull is gaining a reputation as the place to buy in the hope that early investment will pay dividends.”

“We are also seeing more interest in commercial property as businesses get ready for expansion ahead of 2017. Overall there is a real buzz in Hull and the surrounding area and James Legal is delighted to be supporting clients at the heart of it.”
