The transformation of a Grade II listed building in the centre of Hull into the new headquarters for 360 Chartered Accountants is now complete – and the offices are now open to clients.
It was a major project to restore the rare Georgian townhouse at 19, Albion Street to its former glory, but Director of 360 Andy Steele says that the effort and investment has all been worth it.
We had been looking for the ideal location for our new HQ for two years. Hull is such an exciting place to be at the moment, particularly with, amongst many other things, the upcoming City of Culture as well as the Siemens investment. We wanted to move into the heart of the city centre to reaffirm our commitment to the city. To have found such a beautiful Georgian property with its own parking for clients was absolutely perfect.
It was so run down when we bought it. Salt Architects came up with a fantastic concept that combined the original splendour of the building with a modern, contemporary interior fitted out with the latest technology, including KC Lightstream, while Flex Group turned it into a reality, on time and on budget! The conservation officer is delighted with all the work that’s been done – and so are we. We can’t wait to show it off to our clients and professional contacts at the official launch in June.
While 360 is keeping its offices in Melton open for the convenience of clients in the west of Hull, it’s hoped their city centre presence will also attract more large corporate clients as well as being nearer to clients to the east of Hull.
