If you have any employees that have a household income less than £16,190 a year and in receipt of Working Tax Credit and/or Child Tax Credit they are potentially eligible for a free childcare place of up to 570 hours per year or 15 hours a week during school term time. For working parents this is available throughout the year as 11 hours of free childcare a week.
In addition to this, any families with two year olds that have a statement of special educational need or have an education, health and care plan, receive Disability Living Allowance for their two-year old or care for a child through special guardianship or an adoption or residence order are also eligible for the free childcare place now.
