The Bradbury Foundation awards more than £7,000 to seven community projects

The Bradbury Foundation has awarded £7,619 to seven community organisations across Lincolnshire, helping to fund projects that reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, encourage creativity and bring communities together.

The latest round of funding will support a diverse range of initiatives, with each organisation making a meaningful difference to people within its local community.

The organisations receiving funding are:

Caistor Friendship Club – Funding will help provide the club's annual communal Christmas lunch, bringing members aged over 60 together for a festive celebration that helps tackle loneliness and social isolation.

Grimsby in Bloom CIC – The grant will fund an additional interpretation board at the community garden and repair café, enabling more visitors to learn about the site's wildlife and the positive impact it has on the local community.

Disability Social Network – Funding will support a fully accessible seaside trip for members living with disabilities or long-term health conditions, creating an opportunity for many to enjoy a day out they may not otherwise experience.

Gainsborough Men's Shed – The grant will provide art materials to support creative activities that encourage wellbeing, confidence and social connection among members.

Our Big Picture – Funding will support a summer holiday workshop and provide materials for the Young Artists Exhibition, giving children and young people aged 4 to 19 the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and showcase their work.

Lincolnshire Cares – The grant will help fund a Christmas celebration for more than 100 older people, providing companionship, entertainment and festive cheer during the Christmas period.

The Culture House – Funding will support its Picnic in the Park programme, including this year's Teddy Bears' Picnic, which has been dedicated to The Bradbury Foundation in memory of Lee Bradbury.

Established in memory of Lee Bradbury, The Bradbury Foundation supports charitable organisations and community groups across Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.
