Forrester Boyd, one of the leading independent chartered accountancy firms in the region, is proud to announce the appointment of two new Partners – Richard Walker and Royal Deb.

Richard Walker joins the firm as Partner and will be heading up our newly established Leeds office. With a wealth of experience in audit and business advisory services, Richard’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence across Yorkshire. His appointment reflects our firm’s strategic growth and commitment to delivering high-quality services to businesses in the region.

Award-winning accountant, Richard said, ‘I am delighted to re-join Forrester Boyd having left in 2015 to travel, before relocating to Leeds. It has been great to see so many friendly and familiar faces as part of my return which showcases how well the firm looks after its people, as well as its clients. I am excited to get started in the new Leeds office and will strive to emulate the success seen across the firm.’

Royal Deb, who has been with Forrester Boyd since 2008 as a trainee, has been promoted from Associate to Partner based in our Scunthorpe office. Royal has played a key role in supporting clients across a range of sectors, providing expert guidance on business planning, tax efficiency and financial management. His promotion is a testament to his dedication, technical knowledge and the strong relationships he has built with both clients and colleagues.

Royal said, ‘I feel incredibly honoured to be appointed as Partner as Forrester Boyd. The firm has given me fantastic opportunities to grow and develop, and I am grateful to be part of a team that is committed to supporting its clients. I look forward to contributing further to the success of the Scunthorpe office and the firm as a whole.’

Welcoming the appointments, Forrester Boyd's HR Partner, Carrie Jensen commented, ‘We are delighted to welcome Richard back to the Partnership and promote Royal into a Partner role. Having both progressed through our Trainee Academy they bring exceptional expertise, energy and a client-first approach that perfectly reflects the values and vision of Forrester Boyd. These appointments mark another exciting step in our journey as we continue to grow and strengthen our services across the region.’

As Forrester Boyd celebrates its 90th anniversary, these appointments further demonstrate our commitment to investing in our people, expanding our geographic reach, and supporting businesses at every stage of their journey.
